This piece is arranged for organ and trombone and works great in all concert settings, be it a recital, a church recital, a church service, a wedding, funeral, it really can fit anywhere. The flowing Largo melody from Dvorak’s 9th Symphony has been set to a number of hymn songs, the most famous being “Going Home.” This arrangement highlights this hymn melody with beautiful textures and registers in the organ. The organ part has been beautifully and meticulously edited and arranged by the wonderful pianist and composer Emily Horton.
