Souq! is a vibrant new work for Bb Clarinet and Tenor Trombone that will bring a fun and inspiring kick to any concert. Souq! is inspired by the rich sights, sounds, and energy found at a mid-eastern outdoor market, or souq. There are different melodies that bring their own flavor and energy to the piece, as if you were walking through the market, seeing booths with different items. That said, it is through-composed, with some melodies recurring and others glanced by.
