Three Devotions - Low Brass Duet and Piano (Preorder)
Three Devotions is a work created to offer a space for reflection on life’s most meaningful
experiences. It speaks to cherished memories, joyful celebrations, quiet walks, and the
God-given beauty found in peaceful places.
The first devotion, “Lead Me Home,” portrays a gentle bicycle ride through a park while
softly singing the refrain of Amazing Grace. The scene evokes nostalgia, gratitude, and the simple grace found in moments of stillness and remembrance. The second devotion,
“My Soul,” reflects on the uncertain times that arise in life and the inner journey of thought they inspire. Through meditation on self and spirit, moments of conflict and concern gradually transform over time and reflection into deeper understanding and unexpected beauty. The final devotion, “Home,” celebrates the freedom that comes when we release our troubles and burdens. In their place we embrace optimism, faith, and a commitment to live each moment fully; honoring and reflecting the best qualities of those who came before us.
All proceeds from this piece will be donated to "Beyond the Walls," a program that bring live music to immobile elderly.
